Mediterra is one of my favorite communities in Southwest Florida – located in Naples, this exclusive community located in Naples, Florida with less than 950 residences and more than 1600 acres of open space. Mediterra has a Mediterranean style, taking inspiration from various regions of Europe and has had the honor of being named Collier County’s Community of the Year by the Collier Building Industry Association numerous times since its opening in 2001.

Mediterra Club
The Club at Mediterra completed a 2-phase $16M expansion at the end of 2019 giving it a new European Chic-style. The club includes 36 holes of Tom Fazio-designed championship golf limited to only 450 golf memberships and complete with a state-of-the-art Learning Center. The clubhouse which is the epicenter of the community’s social life has been expanded to nearly 60,000 total square feet. It features two restaurants, a lounge, Sun Room, Garden Room and Terrace. The Sports Club features a top-rated tennis program with 8 Har-Tru clay tennis courts, 3 Bocce Courts, 3 Pickleball Courts and a world-class Sports fitness center, Spa, Sauna and outdoor pool. Members can also bask in the sunny comfort at the Mediterra Naples Beach Club that serves indoor and al fresco dining with a 10,000 square foot clubhouse with pool overlooking the Gulf of Mexico
Golf
Mediterra is home to the world’s first 36-hole golf facility to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. Both the North and South courses were designed by Tom Fazio, known as the ‘master of environmentally-sensitive golf course designs.’ Rolling bunkers and land forms were incorporated into the design of the courses to complement the Mediterranean countryside ambiance of the community. Memberships are limited to 275 per 18 holes.
NORTH COURSE
The North Course provides a rustic, more natural Florida look with water and sand hazards. Featuring less formal bunkers and vast sand expanses that flow from green to tee on many holes, the North Course contrasts with yet complements the South Course. Tee shots are fair but demanding, placing more emphasis on accuracy. Narrow fairways are more challenging, while approach shots to the greens are more forgiving.
SOUTH COURSE
The South Course affords elevated greens, huge chipping areas and large, expansive hazards. Designed with rolling bunkers and landforms, the approach shots are more challenging than the North Course and abundant view corridors from homesites overlook wetlands, nature preserves and reflecting lakes.
