Partnerships for the project have been secured, the new Estero entertainment complex also known as Williams Road Sports Park is moving forward. Located between Williams Road and Via Coconut Point, the future sports complex will be constructed on a parcel of land. As a result of a series of focus groups, Chicken N Pickle and High 5 Entertainment Center have been partnered with the developer.
“The vision that we have is to create a sports entertainment district for the benefit primarily of Estero residents,” said Village of Estero Manager Steve Sarkozy. “The village council yesterday approved the preliminary engineering to establish the underground utilities and the road structure, and the stormwater ponding necessary for the private development to occur at some later date,” Sarkozy said to NBC News.
Chicken N Pickele is an indoor/outdoor entertainment complex for people of all ages. Featuring a fast-casual restaurant and a large sports bar, as well as indoor and outdoor pickleball courts! There were 12-17 outdoor pickleball courts and 6 indoor pickleball courts on the site plan. In addition, there will be three indoor event spaces as well as a game yard with lawn games, firepits, and beer gardens!
Secondly, they have partnered with High 5 Entertainment Center, a two-story entertainment center that offers something for everyone.
The High 5 Entertainment Complex will feature:
- A state-of-the-art arcade with virtual reality
- laser tag
- mini golf
- duckpin bowling
- bocce
- axe throwing
- escape rooms
- A full-service restaurant
